Teams in Fifteen let you manage who has access to which Telegram chats. Instead of adding people one-by-one to every chat, you add them to a team once, then add that team to chats.
Say you have 5 people on your BD team and 12 different Telegram group chats they all need access to. Without teams:
You add each person to all 12 chats manually (60 operations)
Someone new joins the team? Add them to all 12 chats
Someone leaves? Remove them from all 12 chats
You probably forget a chat or two each time
Create a "BD" team with those 5 people
Add the "BD" team to those 12 chats once
New person joins? Add them to the "Engineering" team. Done. They're automatically in all 12 chats.
Someone leaves? Remove them from the team. They're automatically removed from all 12 chats.
That's it. You manage membership in one place and it propagates everywhere.
Go to Settings → Teams
Click "New Team" or similar
Give it a name like "Engineering" or "Design"
Add people to the team
The team doesn't do anything yet - it's just a list of people. Next step is adding it to chats.
When you add a team to a Telegram chat, everyone in that team gets added to that chat immediately. You can do this through:
The chat's settings or info panel in Fifteen.
The command palette (⌘K -> add BD).
Using the MCP tools if you're working with AI.
Once a team is added to a chat, that chat becomes "managed by" that team. Anyone you add to the team later gets added to that chat automatically.
This is where it gets useful:
Go to your team settings
Add a new person to the team
Fifteen can automatically add them to every Telegram chat that team has access to
Press the ellipsis next to the team member and press: 'Add to all chats'.
Press the ellipsis icon, and select 'Remove from Team'.
You will be prompted with the question: 'Remove from all Team chats?'
If you press yes, Fifteen will remove them from all chats that the team was added to.
Teams are a great way to organize if you have hundreds of telegram chats with various partners.
Don't underestimate off-boarding team members as well. You do not want ex-employees to have access to company critical information. Leveraging Fifteen's Teams provides you with the tools to ensure integrity across your business communications.
